The IEMO Organization, responding to relevant United Nations General Assembly Resolutions on the enhancement of security of humanitarian personnel in emergency operations, has established a Program for the official support of NGOs, Associations and Institutions with the aim to increase the security and the safety of their respective officers and volunteers, by the issuance of an OFFICIAL SAFE-CONDUCT (protective document) .
The Safe Conduct consists in a passport-like booklet (32 pages with blue cover, embossed in gold) with protective effect, to be used in support of national passport to provide enhanced safety and security for official service missions.

The Safe-Conduct Program is intended for the functional use of NGOs/ Associations and Volunteers needing more protection, safety and security on the field.
Too many officers and volunteers, in fact, risk their own safety in difficult situations without an effective Institutional Protection in crisis scenarios, like wars, riots, conflicts , natural or man -made emergencies, especially of man-made nature.
The SAFE-CONDUCT protection derives from the fact that the IEMO, possessing international status, can extend its prerogatives to the institutions participating to its Safe-Conduct Program
The SAFE-CONDUCT is written in several languages (English, French and Spanish) with service notes in 8 Languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Hindu, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish.

The administrative associative yearly fee for the Safe-Conduct is of Euros 80 per year (total 180 Euros for three years) , remittable by Official Cashier's Cheque only entitled to IEMO, sent by recommended post to IEMO, Via Barberini 37a 00187 Roma, Italy.
